Why doesn’t the timed recording function work?

It is recommended that you have sufficient free hard drive space before starting a timed recording. If less than 150 MB of free space remains, timed recording is automatically disabled. If your hard drive is almost out of space during recording, a warning message will be displayed to notify you that the recording process is about to stop.
