How do I use CyberLink YouCam 8 with my video call programs on a PC? (e.g. CyberLink U (U Meeting, and U Webinar), Skype, Skype for Business, Google Hangouts, Facebook live broadcast, YouTube live broadcast, etc)
CyberLink YouCam 8 supports using the real-time webcam video effect features in various video call programs on a PC. You can make yourself look better with the real-time webcam video effect features when you are in a video call.
The following example demonstrates how to enable CyberLink YouCam 8 within CyberLink U (U Meeting, and U Webinar), Skype, Skype for Business, Google Hangouts, Facebook live broadcast, and YouTube live broadcast. If you want to use other video call programs with CyberLink YouCam 8, they must support video camera selection.
For CyberLink U Meeting:
- Start a meeting in U.
- Click on
to enter meeting settings. - Select Change My Camera, and then select CyberLink YouCam 8.
For CyberLink U Webinar:
- Host a webinar in U Webinar.
- Click on
to enter Webinar settings - Select Webcam, and then select CyberLink YouCam 8 from the device list.
- Click OK to save your changes.
For Skype and Skype for Business settings:
- In the Skype main window, select Tools > Options > Video settings
- In this page, select CyberLink YouCam 8 from the select webcam drop-down menu.
- Click the Save button to save your changes.
For Google Hangouts settings:
- Start a video call in Google Hangouts.
- In video call main window, select
to enter settings. - Select CyberLink YouCam 8 from the select webcam drop-down menu.
- Click the Done button to save your changes.
For YouTube live broadcast settings:
- Start a live streaming event in YouTube
- Select More options on the startup dialog.
- Select CyberLink YouCam 8 from the select webcam drop-down menu.
- Click Next to save your changes.
- Click the GO LIVE button to start live streaming.
For Facebook live broadcast settings:
- Start a live video in Facebook using web browser.
- In live broadcast preparing window, select CyberLink YouCam 8 from the select webcam drop-down menu.
- Click the Go live button to start live broadcast.
Note: Depending on the versions of the aforementioned programs, the procedure to enable CyberLink YouCam 8 might be different.
