How to change the default capture folder in CyberLink YouCam 6?

In CyberLink YouCam 6, the default capture folder is:

• Windows 7 / Windows 8: C:\Users\{user account}\Documents\YouCam
• Windows XP: C:\Documents and settings\{user account}\My Documents\Youcam

To change capture folder path, do this:

1. Under Capture mode, click on the Settings button
2. Go to Capture & Snapshot settings tab
3. Click [...] button to browse and then select the your preferred capture folder path
4. Click OK

 

Note:

1. Some of the folders are protected or read-only folders. Please avoid selecting this kind of folder as the capture folder location. This could cause errors during capture due to YouCam not having the permissions to write and save to the hard disk.
2. The files that were originally captured and saved in the default capture folder won't move to the new defined capture folder. You may find that the files in the Library may missing these files after you change to a new capture folder.
3. If you want the original files to display in the Library window, you must manually move your files from the default capture folder to the new defined capture folder.
