The new versions of CyberLink PowerDVD (since PowerDVD 22) no longer supports the online video playback feature on the Vimeo platform. What can I do?

In the last few years the usage rate of PowerDVD’s Vimeo video playback feature has gradually declined. It has been difficult for CyberLink to keep maintaining the connection compatibility of PowerDVD with the online Vimeo platform as we keep maintaining or adding other new features to the new versions of PowerDVD.

Therefore we are reluctant to announce that we’ve decided to cease the Vimeo video playback features from PowerDVD 22. We will be reassigning the freed up resources towards the research and development of newer playback features.

For PowerDVD 365 subscribers that have a previous version installed, you can continue using the Vimeo video playback feature until your subscription expires by not applying the new version update released in May 2022.
