I receive the following error message when launching CyberLink PhotoDirector: "Your VGA driver needs an update. There is not enough VRAM…". What should I do?
When you encounter these error messages "1.Your VGA driver needs an update. 2. There is not enough VRAM in your VGA card. 3. Remote Desktop under Windows XP is not allowed." on CyberLink PhotoDirector, please
- Make sure your VGA driveris up-to-date.
- Update the graphics card and audio card drivers of your computer. If you are using an AMD / NVDIA / Intel graphics card, you can download latest driver from AMD / NVIDIA / Intel’s web site. If you have any problems with installing graphics card drivers, please contact your computer manufacturer or the manufacturer of the display and sound cards for the latest drivers.
- Make sure your VRAM is not less than 128 MB and the resolutionis not lower than 1024 x 768.
- To check your VRAM, Click [Start] > enter [Run] in the search box > click [Run] > enter [dxdiag] in the dialog. You can find the Adapter RAM and Resolution information on [Display] tab.
- Check that your system meets the minimum requirements for the software.
- Make sure your version of CyberLink PhotoDirector is up-to-date. You can check for software updates here.
- Make sure you are not using Remote Desktop.
