I am having trouble installing CyberLink MediaShow 6. What can I do?

Before you install CyberLink MediaShow, here are a few recommendations to ensure the installation goes smoothly.

  1. Verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
  2. Close all other applications, including anti-virus software.
  3. Ensure that you have administrator permissions on your computer. For information on logging on as an administrator, please refer to here.
  4. If you previously installed a trial version of CyberLink MediaShow, it is recommended that you uninstall it before proceeding with the installation of the full version.
  5. If you are trying to install an upgrade version that you purchased, you must have the previous CyberLink MediaShow version installed first, and then install the upgrade version.

If you receive error messages while installing CyberLink MediaShow 6, try to use CyberLink Cleaner Tool for MediaShow 6 and follow the steps below.

  1. Download CyberLink Cleaner Tool for MediaShow 6 version.
  2. Save it to the desktop.
  3. Click here for how to use the CyberLink Cleaner Tool.

If you have problem with CyberLink MediaShow 6 upgrade installation, and the previous version will not uninstall, please try using the CyberLink Cleaner Tool below:

Note: The CyberLink Cleaner Tool is not to entirely remove a CyberLink program but to help resolve the installation issues.
