How do I use the tethered shooting feature to import photos into CyberLink PhotoDirector 10?
You can import photos into CyberLink PhotoDirector's photo library automatically as you capture them from a connected digital camera using the tethered shooting feature.
To import photos using tethered shooting, do this:
- Connect your digital camera* to your PC.
- Launch PhotoDirector.
- Click on Library, and then click on the Import button at the bottom of the library panel.
- Select Tethered Shooting and then select the connected camera you want to use.
- In the Tethered Shooting Settings window, specify the shooting preferences (e.g. Destination, file naming, photo tag, etc.) if required.
- Click OK to save your settings.
- The tethered shooting bar will display on the screen. If required you can adjust your camera's shutter speed, aperture value, ISO setting, and color temperature while you shoot.
- Press the shutter button on your camera, or click the capture button on the tethered shooting bar to capture photos.
The photo you shot will be directly imported into the PhotoDirector library for further editing.
Note:
* To set up your digital camera to be viewable or operable on PC and Mac, you might need to install a camera driver or camera tool additionally. The camera driver and tool are offered from the camera manufacturer. If you cannot find the driver or tool for your digital camera, please contact your camera manufacturer for assistance.
