When using my TV tuner card during Live Recording, why is there no audio or video?

Go to StreamAuthor's Properties menu. The default tab is Input. Drop down the Video Option and select Video Crossbar. Then, choose Video Tuner. Now, do the same for the Audio by choosing the correct Audio Input Device and configuring your Audio Option.
