How can I best use the encoding profile to publish my presentation?
StreamAuthor 3.x supports many profiles to encode your presentation into a streaming format. The encoding profile depends on the bandwidth to be accessed. If the presentations are accessed within the controllable region like in campus or corporation, you can consider a higher data rate. If they have to be accessed outside, we would suggest profiles with lower data rate to ensure the availability on various connections.
Here are three examples for various scenarios:
- For project with Audio only, 28.8 kbps or above is recommended.
- For project with audio and video: 128 kbps or above is more suitable.
- For project with screen capture contents: 256 kbps (or High-speed enterprise intranet screen capture profile 256KB) or above is better.
