Important notice before running StreamAuthor 3.x installation program.
- Before installing StreamAuthor, you may have to check your system resources to meet StreamAuthor 3!|s system requirements in order to obtain the optimal performance.
- In order to avoid many compatibility issues, please close all other software and utility applications (including virus scans and instant messaging software) during installation.
- In order to use Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and/or Excel files as presentation materials, install Microsoft Office Suite. In order to use Adobe PDF or Macromedia Flash files as presentation materials, install Adobe Acrobat Reader or Macromedia Flash Player. (The StreamAuthor 3.0 installation CD includes Adobe Acrobat Reader and Macromedia Flash Player.)
- MPEG-2 video editing issues. Windows does not provide an MPEG-2 video playback program. If your system has DVD or MPEG-2 playback or video editing software installed, that software may conflict with StreamAuthor. If StreamAuthor encounters any issues while importing MPEG-2 video files, please uninstall your MPEG-2 video playback or editing software. If the problem persists, please check the FAQ on CyberLink's website or contact CyberLink's technical support staff.
