What are the differences between storyboard and the Theme Designer in CyberLink ActionDirector?

The storyboard is essentially a large graphical display, or storyboard, of all your video clips and images on the video track in a linear timeline. You can use it to visualize the main scenes and overall production.

Titles and transitions can be inserted into the storyboard to make the video more creative, and you can also add background music to the video. You are also able to use the Action Effect tool to change a video clip speed, add freeze frames, or repeat a video highlight. You can also insert still images between the video clips and apply color effects to both video clips and still images.

If you like a dynamic looking video, in the Theme Designer, you can use theme templates to create one. As you edit the theme template, you can fully customize how your media is displayed, giving you more creative control over your outputted movie.
