The Edit by Chat (AI Agent) feature in PhotoDirector 365 utilizes generative AI to colorize monochrome images based on text instructions.

Operational Steps:

1. Open PhotoDirector and import the black and white image.
2. Open the Edit by Chat (AI Agent) tool in the Guided module.
3. Enter a direct instruction in the chat field
   Example: "Colorize this black and white photo with natural tones".
4. Submit the prompt to allow the AI to process and generate the colorized version.
5. Review the result. You can accept the modification to save the image, or enter subsequent prompts if specific color adjustments are needed.

Note:

• Because this tool relies on cloud-based generative processing, AI credits are consumed for each individual editing move.
• Every text prompt submitted or refinement requested counts as a single move and deducts credits from your account balance. Each subsequent follow-up prompt used to refine the image will consume additional AI credits. Your current credit balance is visible within the user interface.
• Generative AI technology is not 100% accurate, and the results may not be perfect. The colorized outcome is generated based on AI estimation and algorithmic interpretation (guessing) of the image context, rather than precise historical data restoration.
