How do I add my photos and videos to edit my video project in CyberLink Promeo?

Promeo offers large amount of sample media from the 3rd-party online stock library (iStock) for use in projects. However, you can also add your own photos and videos from your local storage to create your short video clips.

To add your photos to your video projects, do this:

1. Start your video project editing by selecting a template on the Home page or a previously-saved template/project in the Projects page.
2. Click on the time bar to select a time code which you would like to add your photo.
3. Select the Overlays tab.
4. Click the Import button, and then a file explorer dialog will pop up.

A video file can only be used as the background of each video scene in your video project. To add your video (or your photo) as a video scene background in the project, do this:

1. Start your video project editing by selecting a template on the Home page or a previously-saved template/project in the Projects page.
2. Click the (Display panel) button above the time bar to open the video scene panel, and select a scene to set background.
3. Select the Background tab.
4. Click the Import button, and then a file explorer dialog will pop up.

Then, you can select your photo or video file to add to your project.
