After installing PowerProducer Encore, can it use the PowerDirector 4.0 retail version for advanced editing?

Yes, you can. To do this, click "Advanced editing" and a dialogue box will open that will enable you to choose either PowerDirector Express or PowerDirector full version for editing.

Note: This feature was not available in PowerProducer 3.0.
