Error “An error occur when opening the following media files” pops up when I open a project in CyberLink PowerProducer 6. Why?

 

Symptom

When you attempt to open a project in CyberLink PowerProducer, you may receive this error message:

"An error occur when opening the following media files..."

 

Solution

If you receive this error message when opening CyberLink PowerProducer project (.ppp) files that were created in a previous version of CyberLink PowerProducer, it may be because CyberLink PowerProducer 6 doesn't include the older effect or template files.

To work around this, click [OK]. CyberLink PowerProducer will ignore the old files, while keeping the ones that made it into the latest version of the software.
