I have an MP4 video clip created in the h.264 format from a DV camcorder. The file size is 708 MB. However, when I import this file into PowerProducer 5.0, the file size appears as 544 MB. Why?

We assume that you selected the “DVD” format as the disc type.

If so, the file was converted to the DVD format (MPEG-2 format) during the import. 544 MB is the file size when the video clip was converted to DVD format.

If you would like to keep the original video quality, please select AVCHD as the disc format.
