DV Capture button is grayed out
By default the DV Capture button is grayed out when no DV camcorder is connected. To enable the DV Capture button, you need to follow these simple steps:
- Connect your camcorder with a IEEE1394 (firewire) cable, not a USB cable
- Turn your camcorder on, and set it to VCR mode (output mode)
PowerEncoder should now automatically detect that a camcorder is present and activate the DV Capture button.
