When playing DVD with Media Player, the video quality is very poor. Why?

Mostly this happens when VMR is on. One of the following actions should solve your problem.

  1. Please update your VGA driver to the latest VMR-ready version. For more information, please contact your Graphics Card vendor.
If it doesn't work, you can disable VMR and use Video Renderer instead.
  2. You can do as the following: Start --> Run --> type "regedit"--> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> Software --> Cyberlink --> PowerDVD --> Find "EnableVMR" in the right dialogue windows and then right click "EnableVMR" and choose "Modify" in the dialogue window and input "0" in the "Value Data" and press "OK".
