My computer system has already been equipped with an MPEG-2 hardware decompression card. Can I still use PowerDVD SE?

PowerDVD SE a pure -software DVD player program. It can co-exist with an MPEG-2 hardware decompression card. However, PowerDVD SE cannot co-work with an MPEG-2 decompression card.

What this means is that when you use PowerDVD SE, do not use your MPEG-2 hardware decompression card at the same time. If you do use it PowerDVD SE may be unable to playback, or may even cause the system to crash. Our recommended solution is to remove your MPEG-2 hardware decompression card completely, or to turn it off.
