How do I play the media (e.g. movies, videos, etc.) stored or shared on CyberLink Cloud?

You can play the media that is stored or shared on CyberLink Cloud with the CyberLink PowerPlayer app on a variety of devices (e.g, Android/iOS phones, Apple TV, etc.), CyberLink PowerDVD 20 Ultra or above versions, PowerDVD/PowerPlayer 365 subscription version, or in a web browser on a PC.

For Android and iOS devices:

  1. Connect your device to the Internet.
  2. Download and install the CyberLink PowerPlayer app from the Android/iOS app store if you haven't installed it yet.
  3. Open the shared media link (from CyberLink Cloud) in a web browser, and you'll be asked to launch the PowerPlayer app. Open the PowerPlayer app to play the media.

If you would like to play the media files stored in your own CyberLink Cloud library, open the PowerPlayer app, tap CyberLink Cloud, and then sign in to your CyberLink Cloud account to browse and play the stored media files.

For Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV devices:

  1. Download and install the CyberLink PowerPlayer app from the app store on Apple TV/Amazon Fire TV, if you haven't installed it yet.
  2. Launch the PowerPlayer app.
  3. Tap CyberLink Cloud, and then sign in your CyberLink Cloud account.
  4. Play the media files that are stored on your own CyberLink Cloud storage.

For PCs, there are two ways to play the media files stored on CyberLink Cloud:

  1. Use CyberLink PowerDVD 20 Ultra or above versions, or PowerPlayer 365:
    • Open the CyberLink Cloud media link in a web browser, and then select CyberLink PowerDVD or PowerPlayer 365 to start the playback.
    • Sign in to your CyberLink Cloud account on the CyberLink Cloud tab in PowerDVD or PowerPlayer 365. Play the media files stored on your own CyberLink Cloud storage.
  2. Use web browsers on PCs (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox):
    • Open the CyberLink Cloud media link in a web browser directly to start the playback.
    • Go to the URL https://powerplayer.cyberlink.com, and then sign in to your CyberLink Cloud account to play the media files stored on your own CyberLink Cloud storage.

Note

  1. To use the media sharing or streaming features on CyberLink Cloud, a non-blocked Internet connection is required. The CyberLink Cloud service might not be available in your area if your Internet access is limited or managed by IT departments or Internet Service Providers (ISP). Please kindly consult your IT service or ISP if your network connection is limited from accessing CyberLink Cloud.
  2. To deliver a stable CyberLink Cloud streaming experience and prevent media sharing abuse, the maximum number of concurrent connections for playing your uploaded media is limited. You are advised to not share the media files with others that might infringe the copyright of the intellectual property owners via CyberLink Cloud storage.
  3. The maximum video streaming resolution available is Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) for videos that are uploaded to CyberLink Cloud.
  4. For the PowerPlayer app versions on Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV casting devices, the PowerPlayer app does not support the playback feature on the CyberLink Cloud media links (URLs) that were shared by others.
