How do I play back DVD/Blu-ray disc folders on the hard drive in the PC (Classic) Mode of CyberLink PowerDVD ?

CyberLink PowerDVD (14 or later versions) can play back disc folders in PC (Classic) Mode. Follow the below steps to play back a disc folder:

1. Launch PowerDVD and then enter PC (Classic) Mode.
2. Go to the Movies tab.
3. Click the Open DVD/Blu-ray folderbutton on the playback control bar.
   
4. Select the target disc folder from the dialog.
5. Click OK to play the movie.

Note: The method above allows you to play back the disc folder just once. You will need to follow the steps again the next time you launch CyberLink PowerDVD to play the same movie.

 

Add Disc Folders to the Movie Library

If you'd like to play back the disc folder the next time you launch CyberLink PowerDVD, you can add it into the Movie Library of CyberLink PowerDVD 14 or later versions.

To add movie disc folders, do this:

1. Click the Settings button in PC (Classic) Mode and then select Media Library in the Preferences window.
2. Select the Movies tab to add the parent folder that stores the video disc folder to scanned path.
3. Click OK to save the changes. CyberLink PowerDVD scans the added media folder and imports the supported media files into the Media Library > Movies Library.
