What are the differences between PowerDVD Copy and PowerDirector?

PowerDVD Copy is a specialized program for copying Double-Layer DVD movies onto blank DVD discs i.e. DVD+R discs and DVD-R discs. You can likewise create a DVD folder on your hard drive, or burn it to a DVD as a movie. Easy-to-select options and an uncomplicated interface simplify the DVD-copying process

PowerDirector, on the other hand, is mainly for users who have creative ideas on making fancy videos and would like to add stunning special effects by spending time in the cutting room. You can also use the PowerProducerExpress or EzProducer that comes with PowerDirector to import DVD content and burn it to a disc in VCD, SVCD, DivX or DVD format. However, this function is manly for people who want to edit ready-made DVD movies and add extra content i.e. extra video content, slideshow, and customized menus. PowerProducerExpress or EzProducer does not compress double layer DVD movie content onto Single-Layer DVD discs and it supports only the default language of DVD movies.
