I cannot find certain features and options (Particle Room, PiP Overlay Room, Audio Mixing Room, Voice-Over Recording Room, Chapter Room, PiP Designer, Title Designer, Seek by, Render Preview) in the new version of CyberLink PowerDirector 2024/365 (released in Sept. 2023). How do I find the features and options?

In the new version of CyberLink PowerDirector 2024/365 (released in Sept. 2023), we have re-designed and enhanced the UI of PowerDirector, and re-arranged some editing options to complement the new program layout for a more modern and easier editing experience. If you are looking for certain features/options that are not located where they used to be in PowerDirector, please refer to the following guide.

♦ The Particle Room and PiP Overlay Room have been merged into the new Overlays room, You can now find particle effects and access the Particle Designer in the Overlays room.
♦ The Audio Mixing Room, can now be accessed by clicking the button on the left side above the video project timeline to enter the audio mixer panel.
♦ The Voice-Over Recording Room can now be accessed in the Media room by clicking the Record button.
♦ The Chapter Room can be accessed from the Tools menu. Select Tools > Chapter Markers to open.

♦ The PiP Designer's Express mode has been replaced by the quick edit mode, allowing you to adjust most of the PiP styles and animation options easily after double-clicking on any PiP clips on the timeline. ♦ The Render Preview button in the preview window has been replaced by the new button in the preview playback controls. You can click on the button to render a preview of the selected range you selected on timeline.
♦ The Seek by option that lets you adjust the seek by method (e.g., by frame, second, minute, etc.) when you are previewing your video project, has been moved to the context menu. Just right click on an empty space of the preview playback controls, and the option is in the context menu.
