When I capture a track from an audio CD, I can hear the music. But I hear nothing when playing the captured audio. What happened?

Using the Volume Control under Windows, please check that the system volume is not muted, and make sure that the volume is set at correct levels, for both the Master Volume, as well as the Wave volume.
