How do I use the Vertical Text feature to create title objects in CyberLink PowerDirector 365?

In the new version of PowerDirector 365 (released in Nov. 2023), Vertical Text is available to transform the characters you typed from the horizontal alignment to vertical alignment.

To use this feature, please do this:

1. Add a title¹ object to the timeline.
2. Double clicks on the title, and then click and select Vertical to change the alignment of the characters to vertical in the Edit panel.
3. Adjust the vertical text's line spacing, character spacing, or the alignment method if required.

Note:

1. The vertical text feature is not supported on 3D titles, Motion Graphics Titles, and the titles that were not created in the Title library, Video Intro Designer, or Mask Composer (e.g., titles created from the Subtitles room and Create Disc room cannot be transformed into vertical text).
