How do I edit title clips in the new Advanced Title Editing window in CyberLink PowerDirector 365 (released after May 2024)?

In the new version of PowerDirector 365 (released after May 2024), the Advanced Title Editing window (Title Designer) has been redesigned to align with the revamped program interface.

You can select a title template in the timeline and then click the Edit button to access quick edit panel, where you can perform the following basic editing options on title text.

  • Fonts/paragraph settings
  • Character Presets
  • Special Effects
  • Font Face Color
  • Border
  • Shadow
  • Blending Effect
  • Position and Size
  • Animation Effects

If you want to perform advanced editing on a title template, click the Advanced button to access the new Advanced Title Editing window.

The new Advanced Title Editing window is separated into three tabs: Styles, Properties, and Animation.

  • Styles: Contains the Preset and Special effect tabs.
    • Presets: Character Presets have been moved to the new Presets tab and you can apply presets and create a custom preset here.
    • Special Effects: You can apply special effects and modify related settings on the Special Effects tab.
  • Properties: You can modify the following editing options on title text:
    • Fonts/paragraph settings
    • Font Face Color
    • Border
    • Shadow
    • Backdrop
    • Reflection
    • Motion Blur
    • Blending Effect
    • Position and Size
  • Animation: You can add In/Out/Loop animation as an opening and ending animation for your title text.

In the new Advanced Title Editing window, the following options have been moved to other places. Please follow the instructions below if you would like to apply these options:

  • To insert images/particles/backgrounds to your title templates, please right click on the preview window in the new Advanced Title Editing window and then select the Insert New Images/Particles/Backgrounds option.
  • To zoom in or out on the preview window when editing title effect, you can select the viewer zoom amount at the bottom of the preview window to set the size of the preview window. Or you can also hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and then use your mouse's scroll wheel to zoom in or out.

    • Top menu bar
    • TV safe zone/Grid Lines
    • Switch between Clip/Movie timecode
    • Display/Hide Keyframe Timeline
    • Motion tab
