Are there any requirements to install PowerDirector 3.0?

Apart from the system requirements, we recommend closing all other applications, including anti-virus software and instant messaging programs. Additionally, you need to have Microsoft DirectX 9.0 or above and IE5.5 installed on your computer.

For retail users, DirectX 9 will be automatically installed from the installation CD. However, for Internet purchases, or for the free trial version, DirectX is not included. You may download DirectX for free from the Microsoft web page:

*Please notice that PowerDirector 3.0 trial version does not support QuickTime and Divx.
