Why PowerCinema cannot support my TV Tuner card?

Please check your TV tuner card driver first.If it comes with VFW drivers, PowerCinema would not support this TV tuner card.

You can upgrade to WDM driver via TV tuner card vendor if the TV tuner card is compliant to WDM standards. If it comes with WDM drivers, please check whether you have setup driver correctly in PC.Explain WDM and VFW:WDM (Windows Driver Model) and VFW (Video for Windows) are APIs (Application Programming Interface) that allow multi-media device vendors, such as video capture card and TV Tuner Card, to write drivers for enabling these cards with Windows.

But the WDM is newer and more efficient API. It supports WinXP/Win2000/WinME/Win98SE/Win98. However VFW drivers only support Win98/Win98SE. Since WDM has better stability, it only has about 20~30% CPU consumption, but VFW occupies about 50~60%.

Therefore if you get card with both WDM and VFW drivers, it would be better to choose WDM to setup in windows. And Microsoft already promote WDM driver model.
