It seems that PowerCinema is unable to scan all TV channels correctly. How can I resolve this problem?
Before you try to watch TV via PowerCinema, please go through the following steps,
- Check for compatible TV tuner cards recommended on the PowerCinema 4 product website at: http://www.gocyberlink.com/english/products/powercinema/4/compat_list.jsp
TV tuner cards that are not on the support list or not using same TV chipset as the recommended TV tuner cards may have compatibility issues.
Some TV tuner cards that are bundled with PowerCinema 4 program may not be listed because of mass customizations of specific builds. - Install the TV tuner card with the latest driver. Make sure the TV tuner card is able to work properly. Check its status by "Start" => "Settings" => "Control Panel"=> "System" => "Hardware" => "Device Manager" => "Audio, Video and Game controller". If it does not work properly, please contact the TV tuner vendor to assist.
For users who ordered a TV tuner card via CyberLink online store can go this the following link to download their driver:
FUNTV Tuner900 for analog TV
FlyDVB-T Duo (LifeView Hybrid TV tuner card) - Update the required programs:
DirectX: www.microsoft.com/directx/homeuser/downloads/default.asp
Windows Media Player 9 or 10
IE 6.0 or above - Then install PowerCinema to try again. If your PowerCinema came bundled with one hardware device (like notebook or desktop PC), please contact the hardware vendor to get the latest patch or go to "Extra" or "Support" within PowerCinema's main menu to check the patch through the internet.
- When you start PowerCinema the first time after step 4, please configure the TV signal to match the region where you reside.
