How do I use the Podcast Studio in CyberLink AudioDirector 365?

AudioDirector 365 (version released after Feb. 2025) includes the Podcast Studio feature for you to edit your podcast audio more efficiently. You can edit your audio with the text transcribed from your audio recordings.

To start your podcast audio project, do this:

1. Enter the Podcast Studio room from the Record room.
2. Add your own audio from your hard drive or record your audio from scratch.
3. For general editing, you can move, split, trim, copy, paste, delete, enhance your audio clips. You can also add fade in/out effects to your audio if needed.
4. In addition to arranging the audio clips, you can transcribe your speech in the audio to text with credits ¹ by clicking the Transcribe button.
5. After transcription, you can search for text or highlight text to delete its corresponding source audio if needed. You can also correct the text ² if it is not accurate in the transcription. The pauses in the speech will display as [---] in the transcribed text. You can shorten or remove the pauses after highlighting them if needed.
6. After editing, you can save the podcast project ³ with the OK or the Save buttons. To export the project into a finalized audio file, you need to click on the Export ⁴ button.

Note:

1. Transcribe is a credit-based feature. It consumes credits for text generation. If your current credits are insufficient, you can click the Get Credits (+) button in the feature window to purchase additional credits. 2. Correcting the text will not affect the source audio.
3. If you edit a new Podcast Studio project and leave the Podcast Studio window without saving it, the project cannot be restored even if you save the AudioDirector project (.ads files) afterwards. Podcast Studio projects (.adp files) and AudioDirector projects (.ads files) are separate and do not affect each other when you edit either of them.
4. For transcriptions, you can export the text as a .srt or .txt file in the podcast audio Export page if needed.
