How do I play the shared media (e.g. movies, videos, etc.) hosted by CyberLink PowerDVD (version 20 or above) and PowerPlayer 365 on a home network?

You can play the PowerDVD library media shared on a local home network with the CyberLink PowerPlayer app on a variety of devices (e.g, Android/iOS phones, Apple TV, etc.), CyberLink PowerDVD 20 Ultra or above versions, PowerDVD/PowerPlayer 365 subscription version, or in a web browser on a PC (on the same home network).

For Android and iOS devices:

1. Ensure your Android/iOS device is on the same local network as your media library PC.
2. Download and install the CyberLink PowerPlayer app from the Android/iOS app store if you haven't installed it yet. 
3. Launch the PowerPlayer app
4. Tap on the device/media library name that contains the shared media on the app's homepage to browse and play the shared media.

For Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV devices:

1. Ensure your Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV are on the same local network as your media library PC.
2. Download and install the CyberLink PowerPlayer app from the app store on Apple TV/Amazon Fire TV if you haven't installed it yet. 
3. Launch the PowerPlayer app.
4. Tap on the device/media library name that contains the shared media on the app's homepage to browse and play the shared media.

For PCs, there are three ways to play the shared media files:

1. Use CyberLink PowerDVD 22 Ultra or above versions: 
• Ensure your PC is on the same local network as your media library PC.
• Select the Home Network tab, and then click on the side of the Share button to view the media sharing devices that are found on the same home network to browse and play the shared media.
2. Use CyberLink PowerDVD 20/21 Ultra edition, or PowerPlayer 365: 
• Ensure your PC is on the same local network as your media library PC.
• Select Shared Media (From Other PCs) tab, and then select the media library that is found on the same local network to browse and play the shared media.
3. Use web browsers on PCs (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox):
• Ensure your PC is on the same local network as your media library PC.
• Go to the URL https://powerplayer.cyberlink.com in a web browser, and then select the device/media library name to play the shared media. 

Note: 

1. The maximum video streaming resolution is HD (1,280 x 720 pixels) when streaming to Android/iOS mobile devices, and Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) when streaming playback to PCs, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV.
