What can I do when CyberLink PhotoDirector crashes on a platform that is installed with the 3rd party Duet Display program?
Users who have installed the 3rd-party Duet Display program may experience CyberLink PhotoDirector crashes. According to our engineering team's investigation, after the 3rd-party program is installed, it alternates the Windows graphics components and display configuration, which obstructs other program's (e.g. PhotoDirector) use of the Windows graphics function.
To resolve the crash issue, you are advised to uninstall the 3rd-party program (Duet Display) before launching PhotoDirector. Use the steps below:
- Uninstall the 3rd-party Duet Display program from Windows Control Panel > Programs.
- Reboot Windows.
After reboot, launch PhotoDirector to check if it resolves the crash error.
If the crash issue persists, or you haven't installed the Duet Display 3rd-party program, please contact CyberLink technical support for further assistance.
