How do I use the Background Remove / Replace tool in CyberLink PhotoDirector 2024/365?

CyberLink PhotoDirector 2024/365 enhances the original Background Removal tool with AI technology. The background replacement features now offer more automatic options, making the edit of backgrounds in your photos a lot easier. 

Follow these steps to use the Background Removal / Replace tool in a photo:

1. Select Edit mode on the launcher, and then click Guided module.
2. Import a photo that contains a prominent object with a background.
3. Select the Background Remove / Replace tool.
4. The tool will automatically detect the prominent object in your photo and then remove the background without manual selection. You can then fine tune the removed area using the brush tool if required.
5. Select the background replacement method from the following options:
   No Background: The background will be removed and become transparent.
   Blur Background: The background will be blurred out. 
   Color Background: The background will be removed and filled in with a selected color. 
   Image Background: The background will be removed and replaced with a selected custom image or image template.
6. When you are done, click on the Export button to save the edited photo.
