How do I use the object segmentation tool to select people in my photos in CyberLink PhotoDirector 365?

CyberLink PhotoDirector 365 (released after March 2021) supports the object* segmentation tool that will auto select the people, dogs, and cats in your photos. This can be done in just a few clicks when you are applying certain photo and color effects on your photos, using background removal, and more. 

To use the object segmentation tool to select objects in your photos, do this:

1. Select a photo that contains one or more salient objects, and then use one of the photo editing features (e.g. Picture to Painting in the Guided module, and the Select area tool in the Expert module) that require you to make some selections in the photo.
2. Click to enable the object segmentation tool.
3. The tool will detect the shape of an object in your photo and automatically make selections on them in photo preview canvas.
4. Fine tune the automatic object selection result using the add/subtract selection brush, if required.
