How do I use the bokeh effect feature in CyberLink PhotoDirector 365?
CyberLink PhotoDirector 365 (released March 2021) now supports the bokeh effect feature, which makes a selected area of your photo stand out by blurring the background. It also creates depth of field in your photo that looks shallow and attractive.
To use the feature, do this:
- Click Edit on PhotoDirector launcher, and then select a photo to edit in the Guided module.
- Click the Light / Lens Effects tab, and then select the Lens: Bokeh feature.
Select a blur type (Circular, Linear, Focus), or use Brush to manually select the area in your photo that you want to make stand out and then create bokeh in the photo.
- Use the brush tool to manually add or remove the blur on your photo if required.
- Adjust the attributes of the effect such as Blur degree, Bokeh Shape, Bokeh Color, etc. if required.
- Select the Enable animation effect option if you'd like to export the edited photo as an animated GIF or video file.
- Click Export to export your Bokeh effect photo.
