How do I use the Black Mist feature in CyberLink PhotoDirector 365?

The new version of PhotoDirector 365 (released after Apr. 2023) supports the Black Mist feature, which is a filter effect that suppresses highlights and shadow contrast in your photos to create a blurry and soft atmosphere.

Follow the steps below to use the feature:

1. Click Edit on PhotoDirector launcher, and then select a photo to edit in the Guided module.
   Or, select a photo from your PhotoDirector Library, right click on the photo to open the context menu, and then select Edit > Guided to enter the module.
2. Select the Black Mist tool under the Lens Filter Effects tab.
3. Adjust the effect by selecting a density preset and the other filter attributes: Threshold, Strength, and Softness if required.
4. Click the Export button to save the edited photo.
