How do I use the person segmentation tool to select people in my photos in CyberLink PhotoDirector 12?

CyberLink PhotoDirector 12 now supports the person segmentation tool that auto selects persons out of in your photos in just a few clicks when you are using some of the photo features that require some selections in your photo. 

To use the person segmentation tool to select people in your photos, do this:

1. Select a photo that contains one or more people, and then use one of the photo editing features (e.g. The Background Removal tool in the Guided module, Select area tool in the Edit module, etc.) that require you to make some selections in the photo.
2. Click to enable the person segmentation tool.
3. The tool will detect the shape of a person in your photo and automatically make selections on them in photo preview canvas.
4. Fine tune the automatic person selection result using the add/subtract selection brush, if required.
