How do I use the Photo Animation feature to animate photos in CyberLink PhotoDirector 365?

CyberLink PhotoDirector 365 (released after Mar. 2020) supports the Photo Animation feature for animating still photos and creating emulated motion effects, which you can export as an animated GIF photo or a video file.

To use the feature, do this.

1. Click Edit on PhotoDirector launcher, and then select a photo to edit in the Guided/Expert module.
2. Click the Animation Effects tab, and then select the Photo Animation feature.
3. Add Motion arrow or Curved motion arrow to set the motion path of the animated effect.
4. Use the following tools to control the motion path of the animated effect on your photo if required:
• Add anchor point: Use your mouse to add anchor points to control the motion’s path.
• Add freeze mask: Use your mouse to brush and mask areas of your photo you'd like to keep absolutely still once the animated effect is added.
5. Adjust the motion speed by dragging the slider on the speed bar if required.
6. Click the play button under the preview window to preview the animated result, or click Export to export as an animated GIF photo or video file.
