What is the PDHanumanSvr.exe process, and what can I do if it uses a large amount of CPU and RAM resources while I’m editing videos in CyberLink PowerDirector 365?

The PDHanumanSvr.exe is a background process of PowerDirector, responsible for generating shadow (proxy) files and audio waveforms when users preview media clips or edit video projects on the timeline.

This process uses a certain amount of CPU and RAM resources to handle video editing tasks while PowerDirector is running.

If you notice that the process is consuming a high percentage of CPU or RAM, it likely means that PowerDirector is currently busy generating shadow files for your video clips or rendering/updating audio waveforms on the timeline.

To reduce CPU and memory usage, you can disable the shadow file generation option under PowerDirector Preferences > Performance page.
