How do I use the multiple object segmentation tool to select people or objects in my photos in CyberLink PhotoDirector 365?

CyberLink PhotoDirector 365 (released after March 2022) supports the multiple object* segmentation tool that will auto select the people, pets, and vehicles in your photos in the Adjustment selection feature of the Adjustment module and the Select area tool of the Edit module. This can be done in just a few clicks to let you edit the objects in your photo more easily.

The new multiple object segmentation tool acts differently than the other object segmentation tool , which also supports automatic object detection and selection in PhotoDirector.
Its AI automatic selection supports isolating different objects in your photo if the photo contains multiple salient objects, It then lets you pick any of the selected objects to edit separately. 

To use the multiple object segmentation tool to select objects in your photos, do this:

1. Select a photo that contains one or more salient objects, and then use one of the photo editing features (Adjustment selection in the Adjustment module, or the Select area tool in the Edit module) that require you to make some selections in the photo.
2. Click to enable the multiple segmentation tool.
3. The tool will detect the shape of all the objects in your photo and then automatically select them in photo preview canvas.
4. Left click on a detected object you would like to select and edit in the photo. If there are multiple objects detected, you can click and select any of them separately.
5. Fine tune the automatic object selection result using the add/subtract selection brush, if required.
