How do I use the Light Rays feature in CyberLink PhotoDirector 365?

CyberLink PhotoDirector 365 (released Jun. 2020) supports the Light Rays feature for adding atmospheric light rays to photos.

To use the feature, do this.

  1. Click Edit on PhotoDirector launcher, and then select a photo to edit in the Guided module.
  2. Click the Light / Lens Effects tab, and then select the Light Rays feature.
  3. Select the Single Source Light Rays or Directional Light Rays effect to add on the photo.
    • Single Source Light Rays:
This mode adds the light rays that emanate from a specified point on the photo.
You can adjust the level of Intensity, Length, Color, Direction, etc. attributes to customize the light rays effect, and then click and hold the light rays source point in the photo preview to change its position if required.
    • Directional Light Rays:
This mode adds a light rays effect that spreads across the whole photo in a specified direction (the light rays do not emanate from a source point).
You can adjust the Length, Color, Direction, etc. attributes to customize the light rays effect if required.
  4. Click Export to export the edited result to a photo after the effect added.
