After launching InstantBurn 3, "!" appears on the InstantBurn task tray indicator and the application fails.
Here are couple useful tips to check this problem,
- Check the CD/DVD support list for compatibility. Since burners are developing fast and new ones added almost daily, you will need to go to our website "Supported CD/DVD burners for InstantBurn" for the latest of supported burners.
- Check the working status of your burner in the Explorer or Device Manager. You have to make sure your burning device works on your operation system. If the drive is still not recognized in the Explorer or the Device Manager, confirm the drive's functionality with the manufacturer.
- If your drive is recognized in the Explorer or the Device Manager and you cannot use InstantBurn, please check ASPI driver. Under Windows XP and Windows 2000, ASPI driver is not required in general except for some other 3rd party programs. In this case, the drives are not recognized or transfer speed errors may occur, and you will have to delete and reinstall ASPI Manager. For Windows 98 and Windows Me, please download latest ASPI driver and install it.
