Why can’t I import my photos and videos from the library in PowerDirector Mobile iOS?

If you are having trouble importing photos and videos into your PowerDirector projects, it could be that they are on iCloud, and not on your device.

When subscribe to the iCloud Drive service, it will sync and delete your media files from your iOS devices automatically.

Therefore, even though you can see the photo/video thumbnails in your photo library, the media files might not currently be on your device.

So before you try using your photos and videos in your PowerDirector project, make sure that they are on your device.

If you try to import media files that are currently on iCloud, PowerDirector Mobile will show the shadow file dialogue to remind you to download them from iCloud.
