What can I do when the frame rates of recorded videos don't seem to match the target frame rates?

CyberLink Screen Recorder 3 supports recording videos up to 120 FPS, but it depends on your hardware capabilities. If the selected FPS of Screen Recorder 3 exceeds your monitor's refresh rate setting in Windows, the recorded video’s frame rate may not match the target frame rates. Please refer to the below steps to check your monitor's refresh rate setting in Windows first.

For Windows 10, do this:

1. Right-click on the desktop and then select Display settings.
2. Click Display adapter properties.
3. Switch to the Monitor tab and then check the Screen refresh rate under Monitor Settings.

For Windows 7/8.1, do this:

1. Open Windows Control Panel.
2. Click on Appearance and Personalization and then select Display.
3. Click on Change display settings in the left margin of the Display window.
4. Click Advanced settings.
5. Switch to the Monitor tab and then check the Screen refresh rate under Monitor Settings.

In addition to the above setting, the frame rates of recorded video are also affected by the following factors:

1. The frame rates supported in your game setting don't meet or exceed the selected value.
2. Poor system performance when playing games, which depends on your hardware capabilities.

If the recorded videos don't seem to match the target frame rates, it's suggested you try the below methods to fine tune system performance.

1. Select higher frame rates in your game setting.
2. Close other background applications to free up system resources.
3. Lower the quality of game or turn off other game effects to reduce the use of system resources.
