Foreign language files become "?????" and cannot be selected. Why?

 You need to change your Windows default language in order PowerBackup can display and back up files with different language file names.

 

Windows XP users can follow the steps below to change the default system language setting. You must be logged on as an administrator in order to complete this procedure.

 

1. Open Regional and Language Options in Control Panel.

2. On the Advanced tab, under Language for non-Unicode programs, select the language of the files you want to back up.

 

To open Regional and Language Options, click on Start, click on Control Panel, click on Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options, and then click on Regional and Language Options.
