What are FaceMe's requirements for face size in an image?
Face size in an image can affect detection and recognition performance. FaceMe uses face size and Inter-Ocular Distance (IOD) as key indicators for evaluating whether a face image is suitable for recognition. The face should occupy at least 2.5% of the image, with an IOD of at least 32 pixels. For close-range applications such as access control, a face size of 8% of the image is recommended for better recognition performance.
Actual requirements may vary depending on camera resolution, capture distance, face angle, and use case.
