How does FaceMe protect facial biometric data?
FaceMe converts facial images into irreversible face templates, which are mathematical representations used for face matching and search, rather than directly storing the original facial images. The original facial image cannot be reconstructed from the face template.
For data security, FaceMe uses AES-256 encryption to protect stored data and supports HTTPS / TLS 1.3 to protect data in transit. Data storage and retention policies can be managed according to an organization’s system architecture, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
