How do I use CyberLink Face Finder to search for and pick out photos by faces?
CyberLink Face Finder supports searching for faces in your photo collection using the FaceMe™ AI technology. You can easily search for and pick out the photos in your photo collection that contain the faces you specify using the Face Finder's face detection.
To search for faces in your photo collection, do this:
- Launch Face Finder.
- Click Add Photos to Query to import photos that contain the faces you want to search for. You can add up to 10 faces in the subscription version.
- In the crop window, crop the photo to locate the face you want to search for if the photo contains multiple faces or other objects.
- Select whether to search for as Photos Containing Any Queried Face or Photos Containing All Queried Faces* from the Search for drop down.
- Click Select Photo Folders to add the photo folders you want to search for faces in. Face Finder will start detecting the faces in the photos of the selected folders automatically. The detection time depends on the number of files in the selected folders. It might take a couple of minutes to detect faces in all of the target folders
- Click Search to have Face Finder compare the detected faces with the faces in the Query Images. Face Finder will display a list of matched faces in the Search Results area.
- You can adjust the Similarity level** to control the AI detection strictness of face search results, if required.
- Click Export Photos to export the matched face photos to a folder.
Note:
* The Photos Containing All Queried Faces option means that Face Finder will only find photos that contain all of the added faces.
** The similarity level is acting like the face detection strictness for Face Finder's AI search engine. Generally, the higher the similarity level, the lower the number of photos that will be accepted and displayed in the search results. This is because the face detection strictness is higher.
