What is the difference between the navigation behavior of a DVD disc and a VCD disc?
For the DVD disc, you can use direction or number keys to select the scene or item you want in the menu. Plus, pressing the next button while playing DVD movies, the player will jump to the next scene on the disc or go back to the menu.
If the DVD disc does not have a menu, the next button will also jump to the next scene. With a VCD disc, you can use the number keys to select the scene only in the menu.
Once pressing the next button while playing VCD movie, the player will just go back to the menu. If the VCD disc does not have a menu, the next button will lead you back to the menu or to other scenes. (Most VCD/DVD players follow this playback behavior and only a few players would jump to the next scene.)
