What's difference between a WDM & VfW driver?

WDM (Windows Driver Model) drivers support Win2000/WinME/Win98/Win98SE. However VFW (Video for Windows) drivers only support Win98/Win98SE. Since WDM has better stability, it only has about 20~30% CPU consumption, but VfW occupies about 50~60%; therefore we suggest that you consider a capture card that supports WDM drivers.
